March, the busy month.

This month was the busiest month ever! I had a lot of fun, in 6 different cities, which is a bit more than what I am normally used to. But let me walk you through it.

Firstly, on the 3rd of March, we went over to Sheffield, for the first time, as I got invited over by my old friend. He is the main organiser of Sheffield meet-ups, this being his second meet. I decided to go over, see how it goes. I was amazed, that with only (approximately) 10 people showing up, we still managed to have great time. We went up to the pub, had few drinks, then went to go on fursuit walk around Sheffield town and back. It was fantastic! We came across few police guys, and by the smile on their faces, we could tell they were enjoying it!

In the evening on that day, I got invited By Sebastian Kidd, to stay over with him for a night, so I gladly agreed and went with him to Chesterfield where he lives, which was only 10 minutes away from Sheffield, and returned home on the next day.

On the very next weekend, 9th of March, we went up to Manchester for our yet another 'furmeet'. It was great to see my friends that traveled up from another side of UK and be able to talk with them, see what's new and what is going on in their personal lives. As of every month, I had amazing fun. We managed to invade a park, and a local coffee shop, even though there was about 100 of us. They enjoyed it as much as we did, and I'm sure we made their day a little bit less boring.

On the very next weekend, 16th of March , I got dragged to Leeds by few of my friends, which I need to thank, because it was well worth it! (They even paid for my train tickets for which I'm grateful). Upon the arrival in the venue for our meet, I was shocked at first, for the quality of the venue. It was something you'd only see in the movies. I've met few new people, including Sval, who I've wanted to meet for ages, but never really had a chance to, until now. As the day went on, we had our usual chat-chats with people, fursuit walk, then more chat-chats.

Just after 4 days, on wednesday,  I have decided to join a Comic Relief event at St Helens College, to try and raise money for a charity. I was very glad I did it! My friend Matthew Coatsworth, has accompanied me  and took pictures/videos for us, so we could remember that great and fun day!

On the following weekend, 23rd of March, I have decided to travel up to Liverpool, for yet another 'furmeet'. I had some trouble with getting there, as it was snowing very badly, and buses were more than useless that day for travelling. However, my friend Defox, have offered me a lift with his car which enabled me to get there. For the first half of the afternoon, we played pool, talked and met few new people, and then we went for the fursuit walk. Yes, fursuit walk, in snowy and cold weather. It was great for us, as we kept warm due to all the fur we were wearing, however the cameramen were almost
frozen on that day, but still managed to get some great pictures and videos. It was a lot of fun, and I also discovered that my fursuit, works very well with snow on pictures. All the pictures and videos can be found on my facebook page, which I will link later on.

After the fursuit walk, we decided to head back down to the Baa bar, where everyone was staying at, and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon and evening having general fun and drinks.

All in all, it was busy, but extremely fun-packed month, and I cant wait now for April. I will most likely visit Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool again, as now people have offered me a car lift, which will cut down on time spent on travel, and also cut down on cost, which is awesome. I really want it to be next weekend already, so this whole crazy monthly-traveling would start again!

Thanks to everyone that I managed to see and talk with, and apologize to everyone that I missed out, as there is way too many people to be able to talk to every single one of you, but next time.. it will be different.

Manchester November 2012

So it is the time of the month when we all go to Manchester for our monthly gather-around to spend some time together, have a few laughs and entertain the public.

In the afternoon, just like last month, we went to the Piccadily Gardens, where we ran around chasing each other around the fountains, invaded a small coffee shop, and scared off some ladies.

Later in the afternoon, we have played some xbox kinnect games, and of course we had some trouble with setting it up properly, as it wouldn't detect our movements and actions, but soon after that, everything was working fine, as we have enjoyed the rest of the evening.

Sadly few people couldn't make it that I was looking forward to see, but hopefully they will make it at the end of this month again.

I must especially thank Craig Dyas for giving me a ride to the meet, as otherwise I would not be able to attend it.

Great voluntary fursuiting for my local barber!

So today, I had a crazy idea to go to my local barber, nearby where I live, and basically entertain everyone a little. I must say that I had a great time! And from all the reactions from people, I can assume that they did too. I've done some indoors suiting and outside, to try and attract more people to come in, but I have ended up with people taking pictures of me, rather than coming in to the barber and getting a haircut. Cars and buses full of people were waving to me and I could see them smiling, so I guess that yet again, I have succeeded to make everyone's day a tiny bit better.

More picture can be found on my facebook in album called 'Fursuiting around haydock'.

Fantastic Weekend in Manchester!

So, just like every second weekend of every month, we have traveled up to Manchester for our monthly gathering. It was a lot of fun, mainly because I had yet another chance of meeting up with funny and creative people.

Later on, on that day, we have walked over to Piccadilly Gardens, to entertain the public, which was also a lot of fun! I'm glad we decided to go there, because it was absolutely filled up people wanting pictures! We have also met an interesting group of people that came from Korea to make a Gangnam Style dance compilation video, which we have kindly agreed to contribute to. It was great! They have tried to teach us the gangnam style dance, but it wasn't going too good, as we never thought of dancing it. But all in all, we managed to get few quick videos done and hopefully, soon, we should see us in a popular video.

In the evening, we had our usual evening rave-party at which the DJ decided to go with few of the songs that I have proposed to be played, which made me and my boyfriend very happy. I think it was one of the best weekends I have ever experienced! And hopefully next 'furmeet' will be even better!

And here is a little video montage made by Evil Squirrel from that day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5J1S_rBynE

Aspirations and Expectations

Greetings readers,

My name is Patryk Kopec, and I’m currently studying at St Helens College. I expect to finish this course with the highest grades that I can achieve. After I have successfully finished this course, I will be trying to apply for even higher education such as Master’s Degree and PHD so that it will give me a very good start to my future career plans.

My main career aim is to open up my own technology related business and run it successfully for many years, so that I will be able to invent a new piece of equipment that will be used worldwide. Also knowing a second language gives me an opportunity to be able to work in a different country as well, which will might that I might become valuable employee because of working experience in different areas/countries.

I also like travelling to new places which would be very helpful to me if I had to relocate to a different place if the business needed me there. It might be an advantage because some people might not be too keen to move to new unknown locations, and this will allow me to be picked over the other people.

As a start, I would have to apply to already existing technology business such as PC world or any other firm that is somewhat connected to the IT and the modern technologies. This will allow me to learn about how the business is managed by higher positions, and over time, it will give me an idea of what I should be doing to make sure that my own company will be successful, for example, what I should invest the money in, who I should look for to help, who’s advice to take and how to expand it throughout the industry.

After I have worked for long enough to be able to understand how the companies work and how to operate them, I will try and apply for Google Company as nowadays they have the most advanced inventions such as Google Glasses and Bionic Contact Lenses.

My own company would be based on inventing new technologies that could help the world and evolve its future very quickly and make sure that people can experience the modern technologies for themselves. The organisation would be based in UK and would be expanding globally into other countries which will give us higher chances of success and higher profits if it’s worldwide.

In my very far future, I see myself being an owner of a multi-billion worth technology inventing business, that will be working internationally making people’s lives better and happier. If everything goes well, just like its planned, then I don’t think there will be any problems to make my dreams come true.
